Jakarta – Chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin Indonesia), Anindya Novyan Bakrie, officially inaugurated M.A. Pahlevi Pangerang as Chairman of the Kadin Indonesia Golf Club, along with the club’s management board for the 2026–2029 term, during an event titled “Building Business Synergy Through the Spirit of Golf Sportsmanship” held at Menara Kadin Indonesia in Jakarta on Wednesday (20/05/2026).
In his remarks, Anindya, popularly known as Anin, emphasized that the Kadin Indonesia Golf Club plays a strategic role as a platform for building and strengthening relationships among business players.
“The Kadin Indonesia Golf Club is very important because it serves as a platform for building business relations. The most important thing is maintaining relationships, especially when those relationships are within the Chamber of Commerce and Industry,” said Anin.
Anin explained that the network built through the Kadin Indonesia Golf Club is not limited to Kadin Indonesia’s internal circles, but also extends to various strategic partners, ranging from government institutions, state-owned enterprises (SOEs), regional-owned enterprises (BUMDs), to business associations and organizations across different regions.
Furthermore, Anin stated that the Kadin Indonesia Golf Club could also become a strong platform for consultation and collaboration between Kadin Indonesia, provincial Kadin chapters, and associations under its umbrella.
In addition to strengthening business ties, Anin added that golf also contributes to the development of the sports industry and the national tourism sector, particularly sports tourism.
“This is a platform to promote sports, support the industry itself, and also boost tourism. But most importantly, everyone involved in the Kadin Indonesia Golf Club, especially the management board, are seasoned figures — not only experienced golfers, but also senior figures in the business world, both in HIPMI and in Kadin,” Anin said.
Meanwhile, newly elected Chairman of the Kadin Indonesia Golf Club for the 2026–2029 period, M.A. Pahlevi Pangerang, expressed his hope that the Kadin Indonesia Golf Club could serve as a facilitator for various strategic Kadin Indonesia programs aimed at business players across the country.
“On this occasion, we place our hopes that the Kadin Indonesia Golf Club can become a tool and facilitator for Kadin’s strategic programs for business actors throughout Indonesia,” said Pahlevi.
He added that golf is now also growing as part of sports tourism, which has significant potential to support regional economic growth.
“Golf is also increasingly viewed as a sports tourism option. Today, we frequently hear about golf tourism packages, including those we often enjoy when traveling outside the city,” he concluded.
