The Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) of Southeast Sulawesi (Sultra) held a Provincial Leadership Meeting (Rapimprov) to unite the commitment of the Kadin Executive Board throughout Southeast Sulawesi, business people and the government to revive the regional economy, at the Dome 9 Hotel, (25/11/2023).
This year's Rapimprov was attended by Acting Chairman of Kadin Indonesia Yukki Nugrahawan, Deputy Chairman for Kadin Organisation Eka Sastra, Secretary of Southeast Sulawesi Province Asrun Lio, Acting Mayor of Kendari Asmawa Tosepu, Director of Kendari Pos Irwan Zainuddin and Kadin Southeast Sulawesi and Regency / City administrators.
Yukki Nugrahawan appreciated the theme carried out in this year's Rapimprov, namely "Increasing the Role of Kadin in the development of MSMEs and Investment Towards the Revival of the Southeast Sulawesi Economy".
According to Yukki, the theme is in line with Kadin's functions and duties as stipulated in Law (UU) No. 1 of 1987 on Kadin, further in line with Presidential Decree (Kepres) 18/2022 on the approval of Kadin's AD/ART, and Kadin's ideals as stipulated in the Book "Indonesia Emas 2045 Roadmap".
"We hope Kadin Sultra can take a role in supporting the regional and national economy. Kadin as a strategic partner of the government must also always maintain good relations with the local government. It must be synergised and improved," said Yukki Nugrahawan in his speech.
On the same occasion, Chairman of Kadin Sultra, Anton Timbang, explained that the implementation of this year's Rapimprov is one of the preparations for the implementation of the National Leadership Meeting (Rapimnas) and is a place to unite the commitment of regional administrators in reviving the regional economy. In the Rapimprov, Anton said, several agendas were discussed, such as the book review "Indonesia Emas 2045 Roadmap".
The Rapimprov also discussed the Organisational Guidelines (PO), the signing of a collaboration with the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) related to drug prevention and held a plenary meeting including listening to the general views of the Regency / City Kadin in Southeast Sulawesi. "Through this Rapimprov, we invite all components in Southeast Sulawesi to unite their hearts to revive the economy of Southeast Sulawesi," said Anton.
Meanwhile, Southeast Sulawesi Regional Secretary Asrun Lio appreciated the annual agenda held by Kadin. According to him, Rapimprov is a momentum for Kadin to find solutions to economic problems. "Through this Rapimprov, they (Kadin) dissected the economic outlook of Southeast Sulawesi. It becomes our material to solve economic problems that affect Southeast Sulawesi," said Asrun Lio.
Asrun Lio hopes that Kadin Sultra will continue to be a partner of the Government in order to develop the region, one of which is controlling the inflation rate. "Cooperation like this needs to be built. We must be able to see the (economic) mapping in Southeast Sulawesi. For example, related to inflation, in which areas there are rising prices, Kadin and the Provincial Government can intervene in the market to control it," Asrun Lio concluded.
