Vice Chairman of Kadin for Entrepreneurship, Aldi Haryopratomo discussed strategies and opportunities that can help Indonesian beauty businesses compete in the international market. This was conveyed in the talk show “Going Global; Is Your Company Ready?” at Jakarta x Beauty 2024, (7/6/2024).
Aldi emphasized that branding is an important element to encourage the beauty industry to go international.
About 50 percent of business registrations at the Food and Drug Administration (BPOM) are businesses in the beauty sector. Kadin encourages businesses in the beauty sector to continue to grow and become more competitive. One of them is by becoming an incubator for business actors to more easily build networking and gain market access.
Kadin appreciates the Jakarta X Beauty event which can be a showcase for beauty products in Indonesia, and offers great opportunities for local cosmetic brands to go international.
The world's largest beauty event was officially opened from June 6-9, 2024. In addition to seminars and talk shows, the event is equipped with exhibitions ranging from makeup and body care to fragrances.
