Vice Chairman of Kadin Indonesia, Dhaniswara K. Hardjono said entrepreneurship is a solution that shows that people have the ability to create and provide value-added products.

"With entrepreneurship, innovation and creativity can create goods for the welfare of society. Entrepreneurship is not always synonymous with entrepreneurs, but rather the 'entrepreneurial spirit' that is always creative, innovative and unyielding,” explained Dhaniswara in a public lecture at Universitas Kristen Indonesia (UKI) Ekraf Fair and UKI Career Expo, (14/6/2024).

"Whatever the profession, I want, the entrepreneurial spirit must exist, which has creativity, has the courage to innovate, think out of the box as long as it is useful. This entrepreneur must have guts,” said Dhaniswara.

The Professor of Business Law explained that entrepreneurs can study corporate law. "We want to have a Limited Liability Company (PT), we must know Law No.40 of 2007 concerning limited liability companies, which was revised into the Job Creation Law No.6 of 2023. Now even individual PTs are possible,” he said.

“For entrepreneurs, if for example the SOP or implementation guidelines are not appropriate, then just change them. The most important thing is that the SOP is in accordance with dynamic Good Corporate Governance. We have an unlimited future, as long as it is beneficial to the nation, state and family. Law is a means of renewing society and law plays a role in protecting business activities,” he added.

The lecturer of the UKI Postgraduate Law Doctoral Programme said that Indonesia is a rich country with abundant natural resources such as mining, energy, forestry, agriculture and tourism. Coupled with human resources as consumers and labour, to capital resources and cultural resources and intellectual property.

‘So the wealth of Indonesia is processed by business people with collaboration with friends and networks,’ said Dhaniswara.

Dhaniswara said Kadin exists in every province and regency in Indonesia, making it a strategic place to maximise networking. "When you are in college, have a maximum network. We must nurture network relations from the start. UKI must have a good name if you want to have a good network," he said.
