These issues are the optimisation of strategic sectors that can drive growth, strengthening the capacity of national MSMEs, and improving the welfare of the middle class.
‘With the holding of the 1st Asia America Europe Business Cooperation and Development Forum‘ which will be held in Bali on 2-3 November 2024 as proof that Bali is the spearhead of economic progress in Indonesia,’ said Ariandi (26/8/2024).
Indonesia's ability to deal with these three issues will affect the success of achieving the goal of a Golden Indonesia 2045. To achieve this goal, it is important for the government, the business world, and all stakeholders in Indonesia to work together.
Regarding strategic economic issues faced by businesses and the development of government programmes for the next five years, the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) is preparing a whitepaper containing proposals and input from businesses in various sectors and regions, investors, and academics.
Ariandi also said that on 27 August 2024, he was asked to make a presentation on investment in front of BKPM and Investment Minister Rosan Roeslani.
‘I will explain to Minister Rosan Roeslani that Bali is open to anyone to invest. And Kadin Bali is ready to collaborate with the government to build Indonesia together,’ he said.
