Palangkaraya - The Central Kalimantan (Kalteng) Provincial Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) held the 2025 Provincial Leadership Meeting (Rapimprov), held in conjunction with the launch of the Huma Betang Billionaire Student Entrepreneur Program (MATANG). The event took place at Luwansa Hotel, Palangkaraya, Central Kalimantan Province, on December 22–23, 2025.

Vice Chairman for the Kalimantan Region of Kadin Indonesia, Andi Yuslim Patawari, who attended on behalf of Chairman of Kadin Indonesia Anindya Novyan Bakrie, stated that Rapimprov is an important forum to strengthen synergy between the government, Kadin, and the business community, while also preparing strategic steps to respond to economic dynamics.

According to Andi, the MATANG program is also part of efforts to nurture a resilient and competitive generation of local entrepreneurs.

“The MATANG Program launched by the Central Kalimantan Provincial Kadin is a concrete step toward producing young entrepreneurs and future billionaires. Kadin Indonesia encourages all provincial Kadin chapters to maintain a spirit of collaboration so that the benefits can be directly felt by the community,” Andi explained.

Furthermore, Chairman of the Central Kalimantan Provincial Kadin, Rahmat Nasution Hamka, emphasized Kadin’s strategic role as a partner of the government and a platform for entrepreneurs in driving regional economic development.

“This Rapimprov serves as an important forum to enhance synergy among Kadin, the regional government, and business actors, so that strategic programs such as MSME development, agribusiness, forestry, and tourism can be implemented in a more inclusive and sustainable manner,” he said.

Meanwhile, Acting Regional Secretary of Central Kalimantan Province Leonard S. Ampung, who attended on behalf of Governor of Central Kalimantan Province Agustiar Sabran, stated that Kadin plays a strategic role in supporting future regional economic growth targets through active collaboration with the regional government and various stakeholders.

“Amid uncertain global economic dynamics, strong synergy between regional governments and the business community is essential to seize various economic opportunities,” he said.

Leonard explained that Central Kalimantan Province has significant potential across various sectors, and therefore Kadin is expected to be able to identify opportunities and make tangible contributions to promoting inclusive and sustainable economic growth.

“The involvement of the younger generation through the MATANG Student Entrepreneur Program is in line with the Governor of Central Kalimantan Province’s vision to create young entrepreneurs and billionaires,” he concluded.
