Pidie Jaya – The Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin), in collaboration with Kadin Aceh Province, conducted a site visit to accelerate the construction of permanent housing (Huntap) for flood survivors in Pidie Jaya Regency, Aceh, on Sunday (April 19, 2026).
During the visit, several housing units showed significant progress. In Muka Blang Village, Panteraja District, construction has reached approximately 75 percent completion. Meanwhile, housing units in Meunasah Lhok Village, Meureudu District, have been fully completed and are ready for occupancy by beneficiaries.
Vice Chairman Coordinator for Legal Affairs and Human Rights, Infrastructure and Facilities of Kadin Indonesia, M. Azis Syamsuddin—who represented Kadin Chairman Anindya Novyan Bakrie—stated that the progress reflects strong collaboration and consistent monitoring between Kadin Indonesia and Kadin Aceh Province.
“Going forward, we hope this program can continue and reach more communities in need. This is not just a promise—we will strive to make it happen. We ask for your prayers and support,” said Azis.
Meanwhile, Chairman of Kadin Aceh Province, Muhammad Iqbal Piyeung, emphasized that the progress demonstrates the business community’s seriousness in ensuring that assistance truly reaches the people.
“What we are seeing today is no longer just a plan, but real progress that can be directly felt by the community,” said Iqbal.
He added that Kadin will continue to push for the program to create broader impact.
“We want to ensure that every assistance effort is not only completed physically, but also brings new hope and accelerates the recovery of people’s livelihoods,” he concluded.
Representing the beneficiaries, Tgk. Rahmadi expressed his appreciation for the support provided.
“We would like to thank Kadin Indonesia and Kadin Aceh for this assistance. These homes mean a great deal to our community. We also hope there will be continued support for other residents who have not yet received aid,” he said.
