Mamuju, West Sulawesi – The West Sulawesi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin Sulbar) held its 5th Provincial Conference (Musprov) under the theme “United, Collaborative, and Competitive Towards an Advanced and Prosperous West Sulawesi” in Mamuju, West Sulawesi, on Saturday (May 16, 2026).
During the conference, Zaneth Raodathul was unanimously elected as Chairwoman of Kadin West Sulawesi for the 2026–2031 term, succeeding Muh Taslim Tammauni.
Vice Chairman Coordinator for Legal and Human Rights Affairs, Infrastructure and Facilities of Kadin Indonesia, M. Azis Syamsuddin, who attended on behalf of Kadin Indonesia Chairman Anindya Novyan Bakrie, expressed his appreciation for the election of Zaneth Raodathul as the newly elected Chairwoman of Kadin West Sulawesi.
Azis emphasized his confidence that Kadin West Sulawesi would continue to support the region’s economic growth, considering the province’s vast economic potential.
“Here in West Sulawesi, across its six regencies, there are opportunities to synergize regional potential with the national economy, particularly in cocoa, palm oil, fisheries, and coffee sectors,” Azis explained.
Meanwhile, Vice Chairman for Regional Autonomy Affairs of Kadin Indonesia, Sarman Simanjorang, conveyed several strategic messages regarding Kadin’s role as a government partner and the importance of a solid organizational structure.
“The amendments to the articles of association and bylaws have reaffirmed Kadin’s position as a strategic partner of the government in accordance with prevailing laws and regulations,” said Sarman.
Sarman expressed hope that the new leadership would strengthen the role of entrepreneurs in West Sulawesi, positioning Kadin as an umbrella organization for the business community that effectively accommodates state-owned enterprises (SOEs), regionally owned enterprises (ROEs), cooperatives, and national private sector players.
“All board members are expected to possess active Membership Cards (KTA) as proof of membership and to facilitate administrative processes. Regular coordination and consultation between provincial and regency/city administrators are essential so that Kadin in West Sulawesi can truly become a collective force for regional economic development,” Sarman added.
Meanwhile, the newly elected Chairwoman of Kadin West Sulawesi for the 2026–2031 term, Zaneth Raodathul, expressed deep gratitude for the trust bestowed upon her. She affirmed her commitment to immediately begin working toward advancing the regional economy.
“I sincerely hope for solid support and close collaboration from all regency and city administrators. Let us continue the leadership legacy of Mr. Taslim Tammauni together for one noble goal: advancing the economy of West Sulawesi, particularly by strengthening the MSME sector and embracing all local economic stakeholders,” Zaneth concluded.
