Banda Aceh - The Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin Indonesia), through the Aceh Provincial Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin Aceh), distributed humanitarian assistance in the form of two Compact Water Purifier DC-2000-UF units to communities affected by floods and landslides. The handover took place at the Aceh Traders Hall Building (Balai Saudagar Aceh) in Banda Aceh on Wednesday (7 January 2026).
Chairman of Kadin Aceh, Muhammad Iqbal Piyeung, expressed his appreciation and gratitude to Kadin Indonesia for its care and support for the people of Aceh affected by the floods and landslides.
“In addition to these two water purification units, Kadin Indonesia, together with regional Kadin chapters, has also distributed various forms of emergency assistance and donations through the Aceh Provincial Kadin Task Force and the Peduli Association,” Iqbal said.
Iqbal also acknowledged the role of Military Resort Command 011/Lilawangsa for its cooperation in distributing aid to communities in need on the ground.
According to Iqbal, the presence of the water purification machines is crucial given the limited access to clean water in disaster-affected areas.
“With clean water sources being difficult to obtain at disaster sites, we hope that this water purification equipment can be used optimally to meet the community’s clean water needs,” Iqbal concluded.
