Banda Aceh – The Aceh Provincial Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) and the Central Java Provincial Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin Central Java) have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) as a strategic step to strengthen interregional business collaboration. The signing took place at the Multipurpose Hall of the Aceh Governor’s Office in Banda Aceh on Thursday (April 23, 2026).
The interprovincial cooperation covers various strategic sectors with a total value of Rp1.06 trillion, involving synergy among regional government agencies (OPD), regionally owned enterprises (BUMD), as well as business associations, including Kadin and the Indonesian Young Entrepreneurs Association (HIPMI) from both regions.
The collaboration between Kadin Aceh and Kadin Central Java focuses on several key areas, including the development of interregional trade and investment, the implementation of education and training programs, the enhancement of human resource quality and capacity, and the development of MSMEs through the Kadin Curated House (Rumah Kurasi Kadin) and the Central Java Trade and Export Center (CJTEC) of Kadin Central Java.
Vice Chairman for Organization, Legal Affairs, and Communications of Kadin Aceh, Muhammad Mada who attended on behalf of Chairman Muhammad Iqbal Piyeung stated that this collaboration marks an important step in strengthening a nationally integrated regional economic ecosystem.
“Through this partnership, we hope to boost trade and investment flows while expanding market access for businesses, particularly MSMEs in both regions,” he said.
Meanwhile, Chairman of Kadin Central Java, Harry Nuryanto Soediro, emphasized that Kadin’s role as a strategic partner of the government is crucial in supporting the implementation of cross-provincial economic cooperation.
According to him, within the framework of collaborative government, the synergy between Aceh and Central Java is expected to create new economic opportunities and accelerate inclusive and sustainable growth in both regions.
“This cooperation also demonstrates that collaboration between the government and the business sector can generate significant impact not only at the regional level, but also as a model for national economic synergy,” he concluded.
