Anindya Novyan Bakrie Inaugurates Kadin Maluku Board, Emphasizes Synergy to Boost Investment and MSMEs

Ambon - Chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) Anindya Novyan Bakrie officially inaugurated the board of Kadin Maluku Province for the 2025–2030 term during the Maluku Provincial Leadership Meeting (Rapimprov), held under the theme “Enhancing Kadin’s Role in Investment Development and MSME Empowerment Toward the Economic Revival of Maluku.” The event took place at the Maluku Governor’s Office in Ambon on Monday (April 27, 2026).

Anindya, popularly known as Anin, stated that Maluku holds tremendous potential, ranging from natural resources to human capital, which can drive the region’s future development.

However, he emphasized that achieving regional progress requires strong synergy and collaboration between the Maluku provincial government and various stakeholders, including Kadin Maluku Province.

“I see that Kadin Maluku has significant capital to jointly develop the region, especially since the governor has a strong commitment to fostering cooperation with the business community, particularly Kadin,” said Anin.

He added that Kadin serves as a key platform for business leaders and should be positioned as a strategic partner of the provincial government in advancing Maluku’s development agenda.

Moreover, Anin highlighted the upcoming realization of the Masela Block National Strategic Project (PSN), which has long been anticipated by the people of Maluku. In this regard, Kadin is expected to play a crucial role, particularly in preparing local contractors.

“The success of a national strategic project will depend on strong collaboration—how local contractors are involved. Kadin Maluku also bears responsibility for attracting technology investors and investment that can generate employment opportunities,” he explained.

Meanwhile, Chairman of Kadin Maluku Province Muhammad Armyn Syarif Latuconsina, commonly known as Sam Latuconsina, stated that as a platform for entrepreneurs, Kadin Maluku must position itself as a locomotive driving economic progress in the region.

According to him, Kadin Maluku is ready to collaborate with the provincial government as a partner in building a better Maluku.

“We express our deepest gratitude to the Governor of Maluku Province for supporting Kadin through various policies,” he said.

He also commended the performance of Kadin Indonesia under the leadership of Anindya Novyan Bakrie, particularly in consolidating the organization and organizing numerous national and international activities while actively involving regional Kadin chapters.

“I hope this inauguration will not merely be ceremonial, but will serve as a catalyst for action—building a solid, highly dedicated, and professional team. Let us make Kadin a home for working together to support regional government programs and advance Maluku’s economy,” he added.

Furthermore, Maluku Governor Hendrik Lewerissa stated that the inauguration of the new Kadin Maluku board carries a significant mandate and responsibility to elevate the region’s business sector to a higher level.

“The provincial government will continue to support Kadin Maluku’s programs through concrete measures, including facilitating the provision of administrative office space at the Ambon Islamic Center as a hub for collaboration,” he concluded.

Also in attendance were Vice Chairman Coordinator for Legal and Human Rights and Infrastructure of Kadin Indonesia M. Azis Syamsuddin, and Vice Chairman for Organization Affairs of Kadin Indonesia Taufan Eko Nugroho Rotorasiko.
