Kadin NTT Ready to Synergize with KPP Pratama Kupang to Strengthen Tax Literacy

Kupang – The Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) of East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) has expressed its readiness to strengthen synergy with the Kupang Primary Tax Office (KPP Pratama Kupang) in enhancing tax literacy among business actors.

This commitment was conveyed during a courtesy meeting between Kadin NTT Chairman Bobby Lianto and Head of KPP Pratama Kupang Jehuda Bil Jonas Zacharias at the Kadin NTT Office in Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara, on Tuesday (April 14, 2026).

During the meeting, Bobby Lianto emphasized that Kadin plays a strategic role as a platform for various business associations to reach entrepreneurs across sectors.

“We are ready to serve as a bridge for tax outreach to business actors. The hope is that they will not only understand the regulations, but also be able to implement them properly,” Bobby stated.

Bobby also highlighted the still limited understanding of tax regulations among some entrepreneurs. He stressed that continuous guidance is essential to prevent business actors from falling into violations that could lead to sanctions.

“Communication and capacity building must be carried out continuously. In this way, entrepreneurs can learn, understand, and ultimately comply with their tax obligations,” he added.

Meanwhile, Head of KPP Pratama Kupang Jehuda Bil Jonas Zacharias underscored the importance of strategic partnerships between tax authorities and business organizations.

He noted that the increasingly modern tax system, including the implementation of Coretax, requires business actors to continuously improve their understanding.

“We hope that Kadin can become a partner in disseminating various tax regulations. More advanced systems require readiness and a solid understanding from taxpayers,” he concluded.

Also present at the meeting were Vice Chairman for Taxation of Kadin NTT Ferry Vincentsius and Executive Director of Kadin NTT Mercy Siubelan.
