Kadin Central Java and Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia Strengthen Synergy, CJTEC Prepared to Become an Export Hub for MSMEs

Jakarta – Chairman of the Kamar Dagang dan Industri Provinsi Jawa Tengah (Kadin Central Java), Harry Nuryanto Soediro, held an audience meeting with Indonesian Minister of Trade Budi Santoso at the office of the Kementerian Perdagangan Republik Indonesia in Central Jakarta on Monday (04/05/2026). The meeting focused on optimizing the role of the Central Java Trade Export Centre (CJTEC) as a driving force for exports among regional businesses.

Harry emphasized that the synergy between Kadin Central Java and the Ministry of Trade is crucial to ensuring that MSMEs have a clear pathway toward global markets. Kadin remains committed to serving as a tangible bridge for regional entrepreneurs to scale up through a structured export ecosystem.

“We want to ensure that the tremendous potential in the regions does not stop at the domestic market. Through collaboration with the Ministry of Trade, we are strengthening the foundation so that Central Java’s leading products can compete strongly in international markets,” said Harry.

According to Harry, the meeting further reinforced the spirit of Indonesia Incorporated, where collaboration between the government and business organizations such as Kadin serves as a key pillar of national economic resilience.

“This is the essence of our focus — developing regional economies through MSMEs so they are prepared to enter the global market in an inclusive and sustainable manner,” Harry added.

Meanwhile, Minister Budi Santoso welcomed the initiative and specifically encouraged CJTEC to serve as an official aggregator for the Ministry of Trade. He noted that the mentoring and curation model implemented by CJTEC aligns closely with the ministry’s programs to expand the reach of Indonesian products in global markets.

As a concrete form of support, Budi invited CJTEC to participate in the upcoming Trade Expo Indonesia, scheduled to take place this October. CJTEC’s presence at TEI is expected to demonstrate the readiness of regional products in responding to global demand.

“We highly appreciate the initiative taken by Kadin Central Java. We hope CJTEC can participate in TEI this October to demonstrate that the structured integration of regional potential is the key to penetrating international markets,” said Budi.

During the same occasion, CJTEC Coordinator Syanaz Nadia outlined CJTEC’s broader vision to become a model export development program covering Semarang, Sragen, Blora, and extending as far as South Tapanuli. She expressed hope that CJTEC could play a strategic role as an FTA Center in Central Java, a facility that is currently highly needed by business players.

“CJTEC serves as a ‘shared home’ connecting MSMEs with export opportunities to various countries. So far, MSMEs still face major challenges such as cultural differences, language barriers, and varying market characteristics. This is where CJTEC plays its role by providing assistance while also functioning as a curation hub to ensure product quality meets the demands of destination markets,” explained Syanaz.
